Westport News: Employee Steals Over $5K Cellphones
#Westport Connecticut--In January of 2017, Westport Officers were dispatched to 877 Post Road East, Radio Shack, on a larceny complaint. Officers learned that it was an employee theft. The regional loss prevention manager reported that one of his employees, Courtney Tucker, admitted to stealing mobile phones from the store inventory. Tucker admitted that she stole approximately 10 I-Phones from a period of December 2016 through January 2017. Officers determined the total value of the ten phones amounted to $5,957.59. A warrant was submitted to Norwalk Court for the arrest of Courtney Tucker. On 03/07/17, Tucker responded to the Westport Police Department where she was processed for the outstanding warrant.
