Laundromat fire
10:11pm--#Norwalk CT--Firefighters battle a ceiling fire in the laundromat at 171 Main Street. The fire was caused by a commercial grade dryer. Firefighters kept it from extending elsewhere.

11:08pm--#Norwalk CT--Passerby calls 911 that there is heavy smoke coming from the showroom at McMahon Ford at 1 Main Street. Firefighters on scene saying it looks like a furnace malfunction. They are investigating.
Truck hits pole, transformer and wires on the cab
11:40am--#Norwalk CT--A truck has hit a utility pole on Lois Street. Wires and a transformer now sitting on the roof of the cab, the driver has not attempted to exit the truck. First responders on the way. This COULD cause power outages off Westport Avenue, one alarm going off at the laundry mat not far from there.
