12:03am--#Bridgeport CT-- #Stratford CT--A caller near the McDonald's on Barnum Avenue in Stratford called police for shots fired and police found nothing. About 30 minutes later a man in the 100 block of Sage Avenue in Bridgeport, not far from Barnum Avenue called police that he heard shots fired and found a bullet hole in in house. Police are investigating.
3:07pm--#Bridgepor CT-- Report of an armed street robbery at Colorado Avenue and Maplewood Avenue. Suspect had a hoody pulled over his face, and robbed the victim of an ipad. The suspect has a chrome handgun.
1:05pm--#Bridgeport-- Report of a structure fire with smoke coming out the window 310 Central Avenue. Firefighters are on the way. UPDATE-- It was smoke from the chimney due to a wood burning stove
1:57pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Report of an apartment broken into on the 500 block of Trumbull Avenue.
3:27pm-#Norwalk CT-- Report of a structure fire at 75 Ceder Street. There was a heater tank on fire, it was blasted with a fire extinguisher, and it is now out.
11:33am--#Bridgeport CT-- A street robbery just occurred at 100 Cleveland Avenue. The suspect pulled out a gun on the victim before fleeing.
2:25pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Report of smoke coming out of the Black Rock Dollar Store at 2075 Fairfield Avenue. The firefighters on scene have discovered this smoke is due to an electrical short.
11:08am--#Bridgeport CT-- Report of an odor of natural gas in the parking garage by St. Vincent's, at 2800 Main Street.
Police are investigating the death of a 10-day-old child. Police say there are no outward signs of a suspicious death. Police will await the autopsy results from the medical examiner before drawing any conclusions. Police processed the scene out of an abundance of caution. The sex of the child is not being released. The incident occurred on Fairview Avenue, a block from St. Vincent's Hospital.
