Fairfield/Bridgeport Break Ins
2:37am--#Fairfield CT--Two attempted break ins in the same area. One on Rena Place and another within minutes on Toilsome Hill Road. Police are on scene investigating. UPDATE--Bridgeport has ransacked vehicles on Ruth, Queen, Thorme and Clarke Streets. They must have a "jimmied" because there is no damage to the locks according to police. These break ins occured on the side roads off northern Park Avenue.
Break in in Stratford
11:45am--#Stratford CT-- Report of a break in on the 200 block of Nichols Street. The complainant came home to find their back door has been forcibly opened.
Home Invasion
1:10pm--#Bridgeport CT--A man just approached police to report that a couple of men entered his home and pistol whipped him at Colman and Vine Streets. They took his TV, X-box and his cell phone. 200 block of Vine Street.
Manhunt after break in
10:23pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police interrupt a burglar at work in the 100 block of Platt Street. The burglar fled out the back door running through backyards. If you live in the area and see someone in your backyard or property call 911.
