Blockbuster Closes in Fairfield, Chip’s Pancakes to Take Its Place

Extortion Scams Keep Bridgeport and Fairfield Police Busy

Police immediately set up a perimeter and started looking for possible suspects in the area. Plain clothed detectives and unmarked police cars followed the woman as she follow directions from the "kidnapper" on her cell phone as she walked to People's Bank on Main Street to withdraw money. Fire On May Street–Fairfield

There were no injuries at this fire at 138 May Street in Fairfield, CT. The fire is considered accidental but its cause hasn't been determined. Heavy smoke was seen on arrival. Two grandparents, one adult and one teen was rescued along with two cats.
