6:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--Just received word that the boxing match between the firemen and police at the Sheehan Center has been cancelled. I was going to cover this and was really looking forward to it.
Gas tank falls off vehicle
2:00pm--#Norwalk CT--Firefighters on the way to Gregory Boulevard near 1st Street where the gas tank of a vehicle fell of spilling gasoline on the roadway.
Ambulance called for a prescription refill
1:47pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A person called an ambulance called for a prescription refill. When EMS arrived they informed her that they can't take her to the pharmacy but they could take back to the hospital. She then told EMS in huff to get off her property. This was all over bronchitis medication.
Robbery, confession and silver bracelets for “witness”
(Westport, CT) On April 27, 2013, at approximately 6:57am, the Westport Police responded to a report of a Burglary at a residence on Hide-Away Lane. Responding Officers checked the home and determined a suspect had entered during the overnight hours through an unlocked rear door. The suspect went through drawers on the first floor while the residents of the home were upstairs asleep. After determining the suspect was no longer on scene, the house was secured for Detectives to arrive. The homeowner advised Officers that a purse taken in the burglary was returned to the house by a white male who told them he witnessed another male drop the purse on Hales Road near Hillspoint Road. Pizza not babysitting……
11:56pm--#Stratford CT--A man showed up with friends at Honeyspot Pizza and left his two year old child with the employees. He is no where to be found. Police are on the way to investigate. 1:05am--UPDATE--The child is now safely in the custody of family. No details given like what family member has the child but its all good now.
Big house/street fight, woman with a knife
11:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police on the way to a large house fight that may have spilled out on the street on Poplar Street. About 6 family members fighting and woman is threatening family members with a knife.
Food burning on the stove brings fire department
8:42pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters are on scene of a 6 family commercial building for a report of a fire. Turns out to be food on the stove burning. They are ventilating the building now.
