Norwalk News: Shooting with One Wounded

On September 10th at 9:20PM, Norwalk Combined Dispatch received multiple calls regarding several gunshots in the area of Strawberry Hill Ave and Catalpa Street. Officers responded to the area and located a crime scene. At the same time, it was learned that one victim had arrived at Norwalk Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and is in serious condition. Detectives assumed the investigation and were able to determine that this was an isolated incident and there was no ongoing threat to the community. Detectives will be active in the area throughout the day continuing the investigation. Bridgeport News: Shooting with One Killed

UPDATE: The victim passed in the hospital, making this yet another homicide.From BPT Police:On September 11, 2024, at approximately 5:45 pm Bridgeport Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation and reports of a party shot within the 100 block of Spring Street.Upon arrival, officers located a male victim lying in the street suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. Medics arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital where he passed away a short time later.Patrol Officers secured the crime scene and notified the Detective Bureau (DB).
