5:05pm--#Norwalk CT--Firefighters dispatched to 3 Oakwood Avenue for a possible explosion however there is no smoke or fire, reported by the neighbor.

4:42pm--#Fairfield CT--Firefighters on the way to the Citgo on Black Rock Turnpike for a fuel spill. Caller stated that the elderly man pumping the fuel also spilled a large amount in his trunk and drove off.
Fraudulent Check Cashing
(Westport Ct.) On April 5, 2013 at 0930 hrs Westport Police Detectives arrested an individual who had obtained over $30,000.00 in home furnishings and artwork by fraudulently writing checks for the items on her checking account which did not have the funds available. All of the victim businesses were located in Westport and ranged from large chain stores to smaller boutiques. At the time of the arrest the suspect was appearing at court for proceedings on other similar but unrelated charges.
