7:51pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters responded to a brush fire located behind Central High School and kids were scene running from the scene. Police are investigating.
Loud music calls may prompt neighbors to take action on their own
7:46pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police have received over a dozen calls for extremely loud and obscene music coming from a house at the corner of Trumbull and Sylvan Avenue. Many of the neighbors threatened to take matters into their own hands if not taken care of. Police on the way.
One arrested after break in
7:22pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police arrest one after a break in on West Jackson Avenue. The victim was home at the time and locked herself in a closet. Police arrived and arrested the suspect.
NTSB says track had fracture
#Bridgeport CT--The NTSB (The National Transportation Safety Board) is report that here was a section of rail on the Eastbound track (going toward New Haven) was fractured at a rail joint. This fracture is of interest to our investigators because of some of witness marks on the fracture surface of the rail they said.Today, the track team made a site assessment and has begun collecting track measurements in the area of the accident.
