12:28am--#Bridgeport CT--The streets taped off as a crime scene has widened at the corner of Brewster Street, firefighters on scene and State Bomb Squad on the way. At 11:31pm we reported that the corner of Brewster Street in front of the Subway is being taped off due to a suspicious package, a backpack left in between the newspaper machines in front. 1:22am--UPDATE--All clear bomb squad packing up turns out to be nothing, same for the call at the Citgo Station on Reservoir Ave

12:02am--#Bridgeport CT--A man with a hammer assaulted a woman trying to rob her of her purse at Madison Avenue near North Avenue. The woman was able to get away with her purse.

8:44pm--#Fairfield CT--McDonald employees on Black Rock Turnpike called police that teens were throwing food at and harassing a special needs person. The fled on foot towards CVS.
8:42pm--#Bridgeport CT--A woman received a phone call that a family member is being held hostage and won't release him unless they wire them money. Same as what happened in Fairfield last week.
7:53pm--#Milford CT #Nakedman--State police are looking for a sandy blonde male in a Hyundai Elantra who exposed himself at the Milford Rest Stop on the Merritt Parkway.
#Ansonia CT #Bridgeport CT--A call from a priest at St. Joseph's Church at 36 Jewett Street for a suspicious package also at the Lot A of the Bridgeport Bluefish Parking lot turn out to be nothing.
