Police Make Arrest in Bomb Threats
(Bridgeport, CT -- May 4, 2013) -- A student from Bassick High School has been charged with writing bomb threats on walls inside the school on three occasions. The latest incident happened Friday. The School Resource Officers section of the police department secured a warrant for the juvenile Friday evening, several hours after the third bomb scare. The SROs, in part, used footage to video security cameras to link the youth to the threats. He was charged with three counts of first-degree threatening, breach of peace, risk of injury to minors and criminal mischief. "These incidents are hugely disruptive.
