Reports of a alligator turns out to be a toy

5:40pm--#Bridgeport CT--Greater Bridgeport Transit called Bridgeport Police of an alligator in the street outside the bus station on Water Street. Police and I rushed to the scene.   Police had trouble locating the gator but found out it was a passenger on the Port Jefferson Ferry with a three foot plastic alligator.  I couldn't resist telling the officers as I left the scene "in a while crocodile!"

Subway robbed at gunpoint

9:40pm--#Bridgeport CT--The Subway on Fairfield Avenue and Brewster Street was robbed by a masked gunman who displayed a long barreled revolver.  He fled on foot down Brewster Street.  The robbery happened over a half hour ago but the Subway employees called the store owner first not police.  UPDATE--Milford had a convenience store robbed matching the man's description.
