12:33am--#New Canaan CT #ctfire--Firefighters are on scene of a structure fire at 747 Old Stamford Road. Initial reports of one person trapped on the 2nd floor, status update unknown. #Norwalk CT firefighters called for mutual aid. UPDATE--Additional ambulance called to the scene, possibly 3-4 patients going to the hospital from this call.
#Fairfield CT #Meriden CT--Owners of the Fairfield were taken hostage from their home on Gravel Street in Meriden, driven to Fairfield by 5 men in hoodies in the owner's silver 2009 BMW 528i with Massachusetts plates 96NV02. They then forced the owners to open the store at 2379 Black Rock Turnpike and then proceeded to rob the store then tying up the owners in the back. Police are looking for the silver 2009 BMW 528i with Massachusetts plates 96NV02 possibly dumped nearby. I'll have a full video report shortly.
3:20pm---#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters on the way to a possible house fire in an abandoned house at the corner of Pembroke and Shelton Street, possible squatters still inside. UPDATE-- Firefighters on scene reporting nothing visible from the street. Turns out to be a small trash fire on the rear third deck and extinguished.
#Fairfield CT--Wednesday 4/10/2013--6:29 pm, a complainant reported seeing a man hiding in a wooded area behind a Vermont Ave home. He believed the man was watching children in the neighborhood and directed officers to the location. As police vehicles arrived on Vermont Ave the complainant reported the male had just fled the scene running through the wooded area he was hiding in, out towards Home Depot, 541 Kings Hwy Cut Off. Daniel Gonzalez was detained exiting the woods into the Home Depot parking lot and initially denied hiding in the woods changed his story several times to police. It was eventually learned that Gonzalez was stalking an ex-girl friend who lives on Vermont Ave. and he has been sending her…
#Greenwich High School was in lockdown earlier this morning after a possibility that a gun was found at the school. Robocall to parents informed the parents of the situation. Reports say two were taken into custody by police.
2:04pm--#Norwalk CT--Police on scene of a structure fire at 36 Bouton Street, fire is now out. Police responded for disturbance now reporting the fire is out. Firefighters on the way.
1:44am--#Bridgeport CT-- A report of about 6 women fighting on Iranistan Avenue near the ball field. Police on the way.
12:33am--Police capture one in a foot pursuit on Wheeler Ave. We aren't certain what he was wanted for but that was the reason for all the police cars.
