Some parents will be faced with the decision of whether to host a teen party where alcohol may be involved. Trumbull Student Recognized at Student Contest at State Capitol

TRUMBULL, Connecticut – Trumbull area student Evan Casine was honored last week as a finalist at the 12th annualeesmarts™ Student Contest ceremony held at the State Capitol.   Presented by Energize Connecticut in partnership with Eversource and the United Illuminating Company (UI), Connecticut Natural Gas, and the Southern Connecticut Gas Company, the eesmarts Student Contest invites Connecticut students in grades K-12 and college to create projects about energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability.   Evan’s fictional narrative about recycling was awarded 2nd place in the Grade 3 category. The focus of his narrative was on the Earth’s limited resources and the importance of recycling in order to conserve those limited resources. Evan received a $100 Amazon gift card and plaque.…
