#Trumbull CT--The Trumbull man that died Friday evening following a motor vehicle accident on Daniels Farm Rd., near Heatherfield Dr., has been identified as Eric Gabrielson, age 54, of Oldfield Rd.Trumbull, CT. Gabrielson was driving a Toyota pick-up southerly on Daniels Farm Rd. when itcrossed into the northbound lane and struck the driver’s side of a Volkswagen Jetta that was traveling northerly. The impact caused the Volkswagen to spin around before coming to rest ona nearby residential lawn, and the Toyota eventually came to rest against a nearby residence.The Trumbull Police Traffic officers are continuing the investigation into this accident, assisted by Fairfield Police Department’s Traffic Division. Police UPDATE: A two-car motor vehicle accident ended with the death of a Trumbull man. The resident, a fifty-four-year-old male victim was a resident of the Daniels Farm Rd. area of Trumbull. The Trumbull Police received several 911 calls, on Friday May 3, at approximately 7:00 PM, reporting a two-car motor vehicle accident in the area of Daniels Farm Rd. near Strobel Rd. A pick-up truck and a sedan collided, and the pick-up truck eventually came in contact with a nearby residence. The only occupant of the pick-up truck was entrapped inside of the vehicle, and bystanders approached to assist him prior to Trumbull Police arrival. Trumbull Student Receives Community Service Volunteer Award

#Trumbull CT-- On Friday, April 5th, Trumbull Police Chief Michael Lombardo presented Madison Middle School 8 th grader, Amanda Lepore, with a Community Service Volunteer Award. This was to acknowledge her fundraising efforts to purchase stuffed animals for kids in crisis. Amanda, who is a member of the National Junior Honor Society at Madison Middle School, was assigned to create a Community Service Project. Amanda wanted to help children who may be going through a tough time but was not exactly sure how she could do that. Trumbull News: Woman Left Children Alone In Car

#Trumbull CT-- On Tuesday, April 16, Trumbull Police charged a Bridgeport woman for leaving her children unattended in a motor vehicle that was parked at the Hawley Lane Mall. A passerby observed two small children that were left unattended, which led to the arrest of Yonneisha Reed, 29 years old of Bridgeport. Reed’s two children, ages two and four, were left inside of a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander, which was parked in the Hawley Lane mall parking lot.   At approximately 5:40 p.m., a Trumbull officer was flagged down to check on the children, and observed the children in car seats playing on a cell phone. Trumbull News: Overnight Theft From Cars Continues.

#Trumbull CT--Trumbull Police continue to investigate several thefts from vehicles that occurred over the weekend while the cars were parked overnight in residential driveways and other instances where cars were stolen from those same areas. On Saturday morning, March 16th, more than a dozen Trumbull residents of the Long Hill area found that their vehicles had been gone through and items stolen during the overnight hours. Most of these vehicles were left unlocked, and a few had the keys left inside. Two vehicles were stolen during this time, but were later recovered in Fairfield. One vehicle was found abandoned, while the other was occupied by three Juveniles and one adult, who were then arrested and charged with the vehicle theft.…
