A Silver Alert has been issued for Sokombi Mwilambwe, who described as a 29 year-old, female who is 5’-5” tall, 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black top with a gray sweater and black pants with a white bag and black suitcase. She was last seen on October 4, 2019, on Water Street in Norwalk. She suffers from mental health issues and is endangered. 2019-09-27@10:37AM--#Norwalk CT-- Norwalk Police Officers responded to 50 Creeping Hemlock Drive for a despondent male. The male, Joseph Sander made threats to harm another individual within his residence. When officers arrived they observed a female victim on the front steps with Sander standing next to her with a knife. The female victim was able to escape without injury. Sander quickly returned to the house when he observed officers, which started the standoff. The Emergency Services Unit responded to the scene and Crisis Negotiators made contact with Sander via telephone and convinced him to surrender without incident. Sander was placed under arrest. Governor Ned Lamont today announced that the U.S. Department of Education is recognizing four Connecticut public schools as 2019 National Blue Ribbon Schools, an annual award given to select schools across the nation for demonstrating overall high achievement or success in closing achievement gaps. #Norwalk, CT (August 22, 2019): Connecticut State Police Troop G responded this morning to the Norwalk branch of the Department of Motor Vehicles after a DMV employee phoned police. The employee reported that a customer had allegedly made statements saying, "Today seems like a good day to shoot to kill" and also suggested that he would come back another time. The DMV immediately contacted Connecticut State Police. As a result of the investigation, Gregory Plaia, date of birth 5/16/1964, of North Canaan, CT was arrested and charged with Breach of Peace 2nd Degree and Threatening 2nd Degree. Plaia was processed and later released after posting a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on 9/13/2019…
