10:37am--#Bridgeport CT-- Shots fired in the 100 block  of Pennsylvania Avenue. 6 males were shooting and one got hit in the groin area . A small tan 4 door car fled the scene. Three are in custody, at least one fled into a home at 144 Pennsylvania Avenue. From Bridgeport Police:  Detectives are investigating an apparent shooting that occurred this morning on Pennsylvania Avenue. The incident happened at 10:30 a.m. The victim, 28, suffered an injury to his groin, and he stated that he had been shot. Medical staff at Bridgeport Hospital confirmed that the injury appeared to be a gunshot wound. Bridgeport News: Fatal Motorcycle Crash Closes Route 8/25 Northbound

10:48pm--#cttraffic--#Bridgeport CT--A motorcyclist has lost his life in a crash on Route 8/25 northbound.  The accident investigation team will have the highway shutdown for an extended period of time.  There is no information on who the victim .  The victims body and motorcycle were at least one hundred feet from one another.  A woman closer to the motorcycle could be seen crying hysterically.  Local streets in Bridgeport near the scene are really jammed with traffic especially on Golden Hill and Washington Avenue area.   Un motorista ha perdido la vida en un accidente en la Ruta 8/25 en dirección norte. Video Report>Motorcyclist dies after engaging police: UPDATE: Arthur De Andrade Leao, 23, of Smith Street was the motorcyclist and he died from his injuries. 12:07am--#Fairfield CT--Just after midnight police attempted to pull over a motorcycle on Kings Highway East. The driver apparently engaged police in pursuit where it ended just over the Bridgeport border on North Avenue where the motorcyclist hit a utility pole. Milford News: Gulf Station Robbed & Shot Up

11:14pm--#Milford CT--An armed robbery at the Gulf Gas Station at 305 New Haven Avenue just occurred.  Witnesses tell me shots were fired and bullet holes could be seen in the door glass as well as a bloodied rag.  One witness said a clerk was shot, but we cannot officially confirm this, however, EMS was dispatched at 11:07pm and they arrived at 11:12pm for a "medical" NOT a "GSW" which means Gun Shot Wound.  At 11:29 Milford Fire reported that one person was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital and one person standing by to give a statement to police.  I will post more information as it becomes available.  UPDATE: 1:15am--The police mobile command center arrives on scene.  UPDATE: The clerk was…

It is sad to report that KC101, CBS Radio and internet radio host Samantha Stevens has passed away after a battle with cancer.  She just attended the KC101 reunion last week.  Today her Facebook page reported: "It is with great sadness that we let everyone know of the sudden passing ofSamantha Stevens after a valiant fight against cancer.
