11:34pm--#Bridgeport CT--Stratford Avenue will be one lane between East Main Street and Pembrook Street. Take an alternative route.
3:12pm--#Bridgeport CT--A person called police that the missing Eastern University student has been seen on Knowlton Street and Stillman Street are of town. She is said to be wearing a blue shirt, jeans brown shoes, looked scruffy like she hadn't changed her clothes in a while. Police are canvassing the area.
11:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a possible shooting. Witness told police that a person came out of 120 Sanford Place holding their stomach saying "I've been hit! I've been hit". Witnesses said the person then walked down Vine Street towards Park Avenue. A blood trail was followed by police down Vine Street, then north on Park Avenue. The blood trail ended at the middle of the road in front of 1274 Park Avenue. No victim has been located and no gunshot victim has reported to any of the hospitals hospitals. Firefighters were called to force entry into an apartment at 120 Sanford Place. UPDATE--The victim did show up at Bridgeport Hospital, which is much further away than St. Vincent's Hospital.
#Bridgeport CT--Police are looking for a purple Honda Accord for an attempted abduction of a woman on East Main Street and Arctic Street. The woman was able to escape.
5:20pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police called by the power plant on 1 Atlantic Street for a person recording the power plant with a remote controlled airplane.
9:40pm--#Bridgeport CT--First responders on the way to the train station on Water Street for a mother with her small child who fell onto the track at track 3. UPDATE--Woman and child now off the tracks but need EMS.
10:23pm--#Fairfield CT #cttraffic--I-95 is closed at exit 24 due to a serious accident in the southbound lane where the cyclist has suffered an amputated leg in the accident. He is in serious condition. UPDATE--Sad to report the man has passed. No word on his identity at this time.
10:16pm--#Fairfield CT-- #cttraffic--I-95 southbound near exit 24 in the center lane is an accident involving a motorcyclist. Reports say the biker has amputated a leg in the accident.
