3:12am--#Stratford CT--#cttraffic--Report of a driver going the wrong way on the Merritt Parkway northbound in the southbound lane exits 47 to now 51 now. Reported to be an elderly female. State Police are running along side of her right now. UPDATE--Police have her stopped at exit 53. Woman thought she was on Route 110.
10:33pm--#Trumbull CT--An employee at another store at Hawley Lane Mall reporting the Subway is closed but that there is an open door. This is the second call tonight of a place that is suppose to be closed left open.
7:50pm--#Stratford CT--Firefighters are on scene at the Comfort Suites at 1800 South Avenue for an smoke due to a short or an electrical issue in an electrical room now on the second floor. Additional firetrucks and the fire marshal requested to the scene.

Bridgeport CT--The child that fell from the second story porch in Bridgeport yesterday went from critical condition to stable condition overnight! Your prayers are working!
The theft happened earlier this month. The victim stated she had parked her car in the 1100 block of Park Avenue and left a wristlet purse in the vehicle. When she returned, the purse was missing. She was informed by Chase Bank that one of the cards was used on several locations. Anyone with information about the woman’s identity is asked to call Detective John Tenn at 203.581.5243.
BRIDGEPORT, CT (August 30, 2013) – In observance of Labor Day, City Hall, Margaret E. Morton Government Center and the City’s Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, September 2, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 3. The Transfer Station will be open on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 7 a.m. to 12 noon. Trash and recycling pickups will continue as scheduled on Monday.
