Woman charged with evading responsibility
(Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 11, 2013) – A city woman was charged with evading responsibility after a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. Officer Stacey Lyons responded to the intersection of Hawthorne Street and Glenwood Avenue on a report of a pedestrian struck Tuesday evening. Lyons spoke to an independent witness and received a possible license plate number of the vehicle. The officer also reviewed security footage from a nearby condominium complex that showed the pedestrian being struck. Lyons went the house where the car was registered and spoke to the owner.
