7:02pm--#Fairfield CT--Police called to the Brooklawn Academy (the old St. Emery's School) on Biro Street for a man who showed up at the Alcoholics Anonymous allegedly intoxicated and acting violent.
Officer Impersonation
1:21pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police called to 1052 North Avenue to assist parole officers to investigate someone impersonating an officer.
Unlicensed Barbers Ticketed
(Bridgeport, CT -- Sept. 23, 2013) – Police ticketed 10 unlicensed barbers during spot checks on Friday Officers Christopher Martin and Paul Scillia conducted compliance checks at five barbershops: Alexzines Perfect Edge on Barnum Avenue; Jeremiah’s Barbershop on East Main Street; Susana Beauty Salon on East Main Street; Lexy’s Los Duros barbershop on East Main Street, and Look’n Image, on East Main Street. At all five, individuals who were cutting hair were found to have no required state license. Jeremiah’s barbershop was closed down after police found what appeared to be an unlicensed tattoo parlor in a rear room.
Rims stolen
#Bridgeport CT #Trumbll CT--A number of viewers are telling us there is a rash of rims being stolen off cars in the north end of Bridgeport near the Trumbull Mall area. If you are getting a great deal on rims beware....if you have nice rims you may want to invest in lock nuts for them!
Fairfield crash

Trumbull crash
7:40pm--#Trumbull CT--#cttraffic--A car into the woods causing the entrance ramp at Main Street to the Merritt Parkway to be closed.
Fairfield U Assault
3:01pm--#Fairfield CT--Two ambulances were sent to Fairfield University Dolan Hall along with police. First reports indicated an assault in Dolan Tunnel with suspects with knives possibly on the fourth floor. Police transmissions warned about further transmissions until they knew what was going on. A radio report later indicated a head laceration from a door knob. A later radio call from police indicated one in custody and the second person in the blue shirt to be let go. As they say in the old TV shows "Be sure to stay tuned"!
