$5,000 tip at Seagrape in Fairfield

#Fairfield CT--The waitstaff at the Seagrape at 1144 Reef Road today received a $5,000 tip on a $122 bill today.  In a trend that has been sweeping the nation called Tips for Jesus.  In the last few weeks similar tips have showed up in restaurants from coast to coast and even in Mexico, with tips of as much as $10,000 — all charged to American Express as seen in this receipt.  Tips for Jesus is an Instagram account with about 54,000 followers.  I'm sure there few there are a few more followers in Fairfield this week!

City Woman, Police Department Host Toy Drive for City Children

#Bridgeport, CT – Dec. 9, 2013) -- Cecalie Cooper just wanted to help during the holiday season. “I wanted to make a difference in a child’s life this holiday season,” said Cooper, 25, a recent college graduate and daughter of Councilwoman Eneida Martinez-Walker. “It’s easy to caught up in the holidays and forget that there are children in our community who might not get presents. “I wanted to try to do something about it.” Cooper partnered with the Bridgeport Police Department in the effort.
