Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing Person

#Bridgeport, CT – Feb. 10, 2014– Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing person. Davin Paulk, 23, was last seen on Feb. 5, 2014.  Davin is 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 230 pounds.  He has a tattoo with the word “Davin” on his right forearm and a tattoo with the words “Death before Dishonor” on his left forearm.  Davin has a disability due to a gunshot wound  and is in need of medical attention for a seizure disorder. Davin was last seen Stamford on Wednesday Feb. 5. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police department at 203-576-7671.

Officers Resuscitate Man Who Collapsed While Shoveling

#Bridgeport CT – Feb. 7, 2014– Bridgeport police officers were flagged down late Thursday and discovered an unresponsive man who collapsed while shoveling snow for a neighbor. The officers conducted cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the 53-year-old male, who did not have a pulse, while awaiting medical personnel. The man remains in critical condition at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center. “These officers put their training to work and saved a life,” said Police Chief Joseph L. Gaudett. Jr. “We are receiving updates from the hospital. We are hopeful but the next few days will be key. I can’t say  how proud I am of these officers. Snow Removal Operation in Downtown Set for Tonight Snow Emergency Remains in Effect  BRIDGEPORT, CT (February 5, 2014) – City Public Works crew will be removing snow from downtown Bridgeport streets to clear major roads and sidewalks in preparation for the next predicted storm, which is expected to hit the Bridgeport area this weekend. 10:00pm--#Bridgeport CT #Stratford CT--Almost simultaneously.  An attempted robbery on Seaview Avenue on South Avenue, two men pointed a gun to the victim's head.  And in Bridgeport in or at 1372 Park Avenue an armed robbery, the lone suspect fled on foot towards Olive Street.

Trumbull News: Car knocks power out

6:27pm--#Trumbull CT--A car has crashed into a utility pole, snapping it half and knocking primary electrical wires on Lorma Avenue and knocking power out in the area.  The car continued and crashed into a garage causing structural damage to the structure.  The road is closed at Lormar to Blackhouse Road.  No Super Bowl for residents in the area, the town's building inspector and UI officials dispatched to the call.

Bridgeport News: Quick thinking averts fire

#Bridgeport CT--Steffon Gooden gave no mind to his personal safety to prevent a house fire on Cowles Street in Bridgeport Saturday night.  "My son is a hero he saved our whole family from a flaming pot that almost caught the house on fire said mother Krissy Littrell".  Steffon attempted to put the burning pot out with water.  When that did not work he took the burning pot outside.  "He was more worried about his brother,sister,girlfriend,me his mom an are dog an her puppies" said Krissy.  Steffon did suffer first and second degree burns during the incident.  Good job Steffon!
