“Fish Fest” August 13 music festival highlighted by six local bands

Stratford News: Violation Of Protection Order

Ronald Bansak was arrested in June of 2016 for Risk of Injury to Children, Assault 2nd degree, Disorderly Conduct, Unlawful Restraint, and Interfering with an Emergency 911 Call. Bansak was given an Order of Protection to not have contact with the victim of that incident. Bansak was also ordered to have no contact with others in the victim’s life. In July of 2016, Bansak proceeded to send several text messages to family members of the victim. A warrant was completed for Bansak’s arrest for Criminal Violation of Protective Order. Police Officer Appreciation Night at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard

  #Bridgeport, CT – The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced that they would like to honor local police by giving all officers two complimentary tickets to the game on Monday, July 25. All officers will also be recognized during the game.   “In light of recent incidents around the country, we wanted to thank all of our local police officers for their service here in Southwestern Connecticut,” says Bluefish General Manager Jamie Toole.   Game time on Monday, July 25th will be 7:12pm with The Ballpark at Harbor Yard gates opening at 6:12pm. Prayers Needed

It has been a brutal year for legends and it isn't letting up for our local legend Gary DeCarlo who hails from Shelton.  If you are old like me or if you have been to any sporting event you would recognize his work with the song Na Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye!  Gary just posted on his Facebook page: "I got my results and they aren't good. I have cancer in my lung, my rib, and a muscle in my back and spine. I have to see a cancer surgeon to see if this came from my bladder cancer then they'll know how to treat it. “Tree Dreams” Now at Discovery Museum

Local artist Amy Oestreicher will be at an afternoon meet and greet on Sunday July 26th from 3pm to 5pm, at the Discovery Museum in Bridgeport, CT. Her work is currently on display in the Museum’s Artist Gallery. Amy Oestreicher is a twenty-eight year old artist, actress, musician, orator and writer residing in Westport, CT.
