Robot Fighting In Norwalk

Last month NHRL invited DoingItLocal to its summer competition which will lead to their Final Botdown on September 30th and World Chapionship on November 11. Their facilities are located at 165 Water Street in Norwalk. My biggest takeaway from the event was just how entertaining and affordable it is to bring the family. Just $15 for adults and $10 for kids. Even their VIP tickets at $50 are a bargain especially when you consider its all-day entertainment. Congressman Himes Visits Natural Annie

Today Congressman Himes visited Natural Annie, a soy-based candle company located at 1313 Connecticut Avenue where he made his own candle during his visit. The Woman Business Development Corporation was also on hand and provided Annie with funding and technical assistance. Annie plans to expand the business and invest in additional equipment to better serve her clients. Stratford News: Air & Space Museum Opens

2021-05-22--#Stratford CT—After many years of planning and restoring the Connecticut Air and Space Center held its ribbon cutting with Mayor Laura R. Hoydick. The museum will be open weekends 8am to 4pm and is located at 225B Main Street in Stratford (next door to the Windsock Restaurant). The museum features aircraft from the Corsair airplane from World War II which was made just down the street from the museum to helicopters from the Viet Nam War era.
