Rosa Blanca Chavarria-Medina (DOB 01/20/1983) was arrested and charged with First Degree Reckless Endangerment (53a-63), Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (14-227a), Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License (14-215), Reckless Driving (14-222), Failure to Stop at Stop Sign (14-301) and Passing on the Right (14-231). Rosa Blanca Chavarria-Medina was arrested after an arrest warrant was applied for and granted following the March 24th accident at Cumberland Farms on Kings Highway East in Fairfield. She was released after posting a $5,000.00 court set bond.

Fairfield News: Fire caused by unattended candle

6:11pm--#Fairfield CT-  The Fairfield Fire Department responded to a report of a building fire at 40 Cider Mill Lane. Engine 4 arrived on scene 5 minutes after receipt of the 911 call and reported seeing visible smoke coming from the second floor of a house. Firefighters quickly determined that there was a fire on the second floor of the house and searched the entire building to make sure all occupants and pets were safely removed from the house. Additional fire units responded to the scene and worked to the confine the fire to the second floor bathroom. Some fire extended to the attic through a bathroom exhaust fan but did not cause significant damage to the roof or structure. The…
