4:40pm--#Fairfield CT--Police have received a number of calls of kids jumping off the rocks into Lake Mohegan. This are is dangerous and there have been two drownings in to years in this area. Also, its chilly out, talk about major shrinkage!
#Fairfield CT--A note written on a desk at Warde High School was discovered by a teacher that read "?Going to bomb school? on 5/9/2014". The teacher waited until the END of school day to report this to the dean. I have highly credible sourceS that told me that Warde High School has not had any training in this from the police department. Had they had this training they would have known not to wait but to call it in immediately. The school was scheduled twice this year for training and declined both times because the central office did not inform the school of this training. #Fairfield CT--From FairfieldSchools.org: On 5/8/2014 a note was found scribbled on a desk at Fairfield Warde HS. The note simply said ?Going to bomb school? on 5/9/2014. There are no indications that the message is credible, especially in light of several recent and similar bomb hoaxes in the area. The Fairfield Police Department is investigating this message and are taking steps to ensure that the school is safe. Fairfield Warde High and all other schools will be open tomorrow May 9.
3:28pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are investigating a collision between a bicycle and car on Marlborough Terrace and Greenfield Street. Apparently the bicycle was traveling south downhill on Greenfield Street when it turned into the car's lane and collided. The woman operating the bicycle was transported to the hospital, injuries are unknown at this time.
7:55pm--#Fairfield CT--Police on the way to 103 Reef Road for a "pushy" woman who forced her way into the home claiming to be a Census Worker. There is one problem, the next census isnt' until 2020.
11:30pm--#Fairfield CT--Food industry continue keeping police busy. This time in Fairfield at La Salsa at 580 Post Road. An employee called police for money taken from her sweater, she thinks it may be by another employee. Police on the way.
5:45pm--#Fairfield CT-- A girl with a lemon aid stand set up at the corner of Merwin's Lane and Labbance Lane had a white male in a white Toyota Camry pull up and ask her if she wanted to get in his car. The girl ran off and told her parents who called police.
12:30pm--#Fairfield CT--An AMR ambulance is involved in a crash on I-95 northbound on ramp. There are reported injuries. First responders on the way.
