4:40pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are on the way to the 200 block of Fairmont Terrace where a mother called police that the 3 lady Jehovah Witnesses tricked her 6 year old into opening the door by saying "they have an invitation".
10:27am--#Fairfield CT--An elderly woman stopped at Hemlock Hardware on the Post Road this morning. As she was leaving, her foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas. The car lunged forward hitting the building. The woman was not injured. Damage to the building was to the foundation's cinder blocks. The building inspector was called to inspect. If the damage was significant, our friends at Servpro would have made it like it never even happened.
11:31pm--#cttraffic--#Fairfield CT--Merritt Parkway northbound between exits 42 and 44 a car has crashed into tree. Road might be closed. UPDATE--Crash is closer to the Sturges overpass.

11:23pm--#Fairfield CT-- A worker at the Citgo station on the Post Road cut his/her finger on the meat slicer. EMS on the way.
10:04pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are looking for a Hispanic male trying to break in to a car on Westbrook Place (off Stratfield Road). Police have a perimeter set up and K-9 is tracking.
12:33am--Fairfield CT-- There was an attempted break in at Wilson's Barbecue on the Post Road. The back door was forced but the cash register was intact.
12:11am--Bless our police officers, they never know what call they will get next. They were just dispatched for someone complaining about people making outside making noise in the snow. I'm not even going to mention the street....
