UPDATE: Fairfield Fire Department Press Release, Tom Appleby should be delighted: On Saturday morning at 10:15 AM the Fairfield Emergency Communications Center received a call reporting a trailer truck full of garbage on fire and the transfer station located at 530 One Rod Highway. Fairfield Fire Department Engine 1, Engine 3, Engine 4, Ladders 1, and Car 3 responded and arrived on scene at approximately 10:22 AM to and found very heavy smoke and flames coming from the rear and side of a trailer truck that contained garbage. Fire personnel immediately began an aggressive attack on the fire. 5:29pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are investigating this three car crash that is sending four people to the hospital.  The crash occurred at Kings Highway East at Longfellow Road (near Firestone).  One car crashed into the stonewall with airbag deployment, one car was on Longfellow Road and and another int he parking lot.  Police are sorting this one out. La policía está investigando este tres accidente de coche que está enviando a cuatro personas al hospital. El accidente ocurrió en el Kings Highway East en Longfellow Road (cerca de Firestone).
