2:28pm--#Fairfield CT--A police pursuit from Black Rock Turnpike to Fairfield Woods now being terminated.  The suspect was wanted in a possible fraud in the drive thru at People's Bank at 1940 Black Rock Turnpike.  It was a white Nissan Murano with plates 176RWX which is a stolen plate.  I spoke with Lt. Perez who said pursuits that involve property only are terminated out of concern to the public and that the courts have ruled against towns in police pursuits that involve just property (non assault on people).  Lt. Fairfield News: Princess Apprehended For Shoplifting

3:00pm--#Fairfield CT-- #Bridgeport CT--A woman allegedly shoplifting a "large amount of clothes" from Kohl's according to radio reports was apprehended by Fairfield Police at her residence in the 800 block of Atlantic Street in Bridgeport.  Kohl's security was able to get her plate number that also had a frame around with the name Princess on hit.  She had 43 previous arrests and a number or alias including the name on her registration.  Radio reports save the value of the clothes around $250.  Princess is now in Fairfield Police custody.   This report is made possible by:

Fairfield News: No Means No. Sexual Assault at Sacred Heart

#Fairfield CT-- #sacredheart--Frank Anthony Sapienza (DOB 07/03/96) was arrested and charged with Sexual Assault 4th degree (53a- 73a) after a female victim reported unwanted sexual contact by kissing and groping her, after she allegedly told him to stop multiple times.   Victim #1 contacted Sacred Heart University Public Safety to report that she was sexually assaulted by an unknown male (Later identified as Frank Anthony Sapienza 07/03/96) who was dressed in a police officer Halloween costume at 5151 Park Avenue (Sacred Heart University).  The suspect, Frank Anthony Sapienza also admitted that he did not stop immediately after he was asked to do so by Victim #1. 1:11am--#Fairfield CT--State Police received a number of 911 calls about a car being pushed off the highway and down an embankment, first thought to be around the North Benson Street area. Police quickly found the car near the on ramp northbound at exit 21. Many witnesses said it was a gray pickup truck which Fairfield Police quickly located at Grasmere and Post Road. The driver was arrested. I have no word on the condition of the other driver by a witness said they quickly had him in the ambulance taken to the hospital.
