The Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road, will be hosting garden lectures on Wednesday, April 6 at 7 pm and Saturday, April 9 at 2 pm. The presenters, Christine Segalas and Mark Gaulke of Homegrown Harvest LLC, say that cool weather is a good time to plan your spring garden. **** First Call Snow Map ***** We say First Call because god only knows this storm will bite us in the butt and make us look like fools. But as of now this is what we are seeing. Could it be less?? Fairfield Evicts Hawks

#Fairfield Connecticut--The birds were online tweeting when Fairfield Animal Control called in the fire department to Sycamore Lane to assist in shooting down three nests in the neighborhood with fire hoses.  The hawks were  reported to be swooping down on the neighbors.   The firefighters were successful in bringing down the nest.  It is unknown if they located to WeekHAWKen New Jersey or Kitty HAWK but I'm sure they thought it was FOWL play!
