Fairfield News: 2 Disturbances On Same Train

2:40pm--#MTA--#Fairfield Connecticut--The southbound train to New York is being delay with 2 separate disturbances. There is a woman with an "altered mental status" running up and down the 6th car. Fairfield Police dealt with her yesterday according to radio broadcasts. There is also a male on another car who has consumed too many beverages and creating a disturbance. Connecticut Post reporter Daniel Trepfer reports Sabrina DaSilva was shot nine times on July 3rd. The suspect, Walter DaSilva, 45, a Brazilian citizen is being held on $500,000 bond pending and extrication hearing. The Post reports that “he was also held on a warrant charging him with violating his probation on a 2002 conviction in Massachusetts for aggrevated assault with a weapon and attempted murder”. Fairfield Selects Out of State Company To Produce Fairfield Videos

First Selectman Michael C. Tetreau announced today that the Town of Fairfield is renewing its partnership with a New York-based company to produce a series of community videos to be hosted on the Town’s official website (www.fairfieldct.org). Through this initiative, CGI Communications will develop up to ten promotional videos that will highlight the many elements that make Fairfield such an attractive community to live, work and play. Fairfield had previously worked with CGI on a similar project in 2010. Fairfield News: Medical Condition Causes Man’s Life Not Drowning

7:27pm--7/27/2016 #Fairfield Connecticut--A 68 year old man went for a walk just in Long Island Sound outside his home in the 1700 block of Fairfield Beach Road like often does before dinner.  A short time later a passerby found the man face down in the shallow water and called 911.  It was first thought the man had drowned but police told me he suffered a medical condition and he had passed from the condition.  Police have not released his name.
