Monroe/Trumbull News: Police Pursuit Terminated
10:55pm--#Monroe Connecticut--#Trumbull Connecticut-- A police pursuit that for a Subaru Outback originating in the Main Street Monroe area down Route 25 south has been broken off by police. The pursuit continued on the Merritt Parkway south and terminated in the Westfield Trumbull Mall area. Fairfield Police located and then lost the vehicle in the Tunxis Hill Road area near Kohls. Bridgeport – Fairfield News: Threatening An Officer
UPDATE: Fairfield Police did arrest the man. 10:10am--#Bridgeport Connecticut--#Fairfield Connecticut-- A man allegedly made a threatening gesture to a police officer. According to radio reports the man allegedly made his hand into the shape of a gun threatening that he was going to shoot the officer. The man pulled over without incident on the Fairfield side of Brooklawn Avenue near Villa Avenue.

The Friends of the Fairfield Public Library will have a Special Book Sale on Tuesday, November 29 through Monday, December 12. The sale will be held at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road, during regular library hours. All adult fiction and non-fiction will be buy 2 get 1 free. Children’s books and all CDs will also be part of the buy 2 get 1 free sale. Only cash payments will be accepted for purchases made at this sale. The Friends of the Fairfield Public Library raise money to support Library programs such as One Book One Town, Soundwaves concerts, the Kershner Gallery, author luncheons, and children’s programs. The Book Sale always welcomes books, CDs and DVDs in good condition.…

Brush Fires
4:22pm--#Fairfield Connecticut--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Firefighters were busy with brush fires. Fairfield firefighters were at Greenfield Street across the street from Kohl's for a brush fire. They were also called to the swamp area at Lake Mohegan but were quickly recalled. Earlier Bridgeport Firefighters extinguished a mulch fire on Barnum Dyke Road.
