2:00pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police Chief Joseph Gaudette met with the press today outside police headquarters this afternoon. Sorry for the wind noise in the video but here is what he summarized: The first incident happened just after midnight. There has been a large house party at 170 Pitt Street and the hosts called police for help in breaking it up. Gunfire erupted before police arrived and three people were wounded. So far, the victims have not been cooperative with police. At 2:30 p.m., police responded to a second location at Barnum Avenue and William Street and found a 23-year-old man shot. Two Men Arrested in Armed Street Robbery

  (Bridgeport, CT – July 1, 2014) – Two city men face charged in connection with an armed street robbery that occurred Thursday. According to Detective Art Calvao, the robbery happened near the intersection of Reservoir and Woodrow avenues. The victim had been assaulted, threatened with a firearm and robbed of his cell phone and cash. Through this investigation by detectives, two suspects were identified and detectives set up surveillance at their residence on 218 Douglas St. Monday. One of the suspects, Robert Stovall, 25, came out of this location and entered a vehicle that pulled up in front of the house. The car then drove off. With the assistance of Sgt. City Man Faces Narcotics Charges

(Bridgeport, CT – June 30, 2014) – An anonymous tip led police to arrest a city man on narcotics charges. Officer Sarah Nestlen and Matthew Goncalves responded to the 600 block of Fairfield Avenue Saturday on the report of drug activity. Police received information that the dealers hid the drugs in a small box connected with a magnet to the undercarriage of a car. Police detained two people. The owner, Darryl Woolford, 51, of William Street, granted permission for police to search the car and officers located the box where the tipster stated.
