#Bridgeport, CT -- Sept. 11, 2014 - A massive, four-alarm blaze burned for hours and destroyed two buildings Thursday evening. Firefighters responded to the 2100 block of Seaview Avenue and encountered heavy fire in an industrial building. A thick black smoke plume could be seen for miles into the night. As the fire burned out of control, nearly every firefighter in the city responded. Incident commanders called the Fairfield and Stratford fire departments for mutual aid. Officer Mildred Manning spoke with the 18-year-old victim, who stated that she and friends had called for a cab that picked them up Friday night to drive them to a party on Wood Terrace. The victim stated that she sat in the front seat and that, during the trip, Pierre began inappropriately touching her. When they arrived at their destination, the victim’s friends exited the cab. #Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 5, 2014 – Bridgeport Police detectives arrested a suspect Thursday in connection with the armed robbery of CT Auto Inc. The incident happened on Aug. 28, 2014, at 7 Wayne St. Detectives secured video from the establishment showing the armed suspect and released it to the public and inside the department. Through assistance from the community, Detective Chris Borona was able to identify the suspect as Marcus Pleasant, 23, whose last known address was on Garfield Avenue in Bridgeport. Detectives went to his home Thursday and he acknowledged his role in the robbery. Additional arrests are expected. Pleasant was charged with first-degree robbery and carrying a pistol without a permit. His bond was set at $150,000. Detectives de la policía…
