4:40pm--Bridgeport CT--A mother has called police that her 14 year old son was assaulted by 3 other teens while on Brooks Street.  The son said one of them had a black gun.  Police are investigating. Bridgeport News: Copper Caper

#Bridgeport, CT – Sept 24, 2014 –  Detectives are seeking information about the possible theft of a large amount of industrial  or commercial-grade copper wiring. Police responded to Martin Terrace in Bridgeport on Sept. 20, 2014, on a report of suspicious activity and discovered three people using commercial wire cutters to strip the insulation off of copper wiring. The individuals told police that they found the wiring in an open dumpster. The individuals stated they could not recall the location of the dumpster or the town in which it located. Police are seeking information from any business that has a theft of a large quantity of industrial copper wire. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Keith Bryant at 203-581-5239.
