12:40am--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters were called to 571 Jane Street for a fire on the second floor in the back of the building. Firefighters as usual quickly took care of it. Bridgeport News: Fire Strikes Remington Arms….Again

#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters from surrounding town assisted Bridgeport Firefighters in attacking the quarterly blaze at the Remington Buildings on Barnum Avenue. Viewers from as far away as Ansonia reported to be able to see the smoke. Firefighters had the majority of the fire knocked down before 1pm but shortly after the fire had jumped to a multi-family home at 101 Helen Street. Firefighters from Stratford Fairfield assisted in putting that one out. The fire is suspicious and the fire marshal was quickly called to the scene. 10:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--The Peking Restaurant at 264 Wade St was just robbed at gunpoint and the suspect fled down Wade Terrace.  Called my friend who lives Wade Terrace and he said they went running through his driveway.  Police are investigating. Bridgeport News: Foot Pursuit after Car Chase

8:00pm--cttraffic--#Bridgeport CT--Bridgeport Police were just in a car chase on I-95 north and southbound exit 27 and 28 area.  The pursuit started heading northbound, got off exit 28 then back onto I-95 southbound getting off exit 27.  The pursuit continued down Park Avenue where the suspect bailed on foot towards Marina Village.  The suspect was quickly apprehended. 2:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--Report of a stabbing at Veteran's Memorial Park at 4470 Park Avenue.  The suspects Green Infinity with a broken windshield.  FYI-EMS saying its a GSW (gun shot wound) but it is a stabbing (for our scanner friends).  The victim is near the library on the Madison Avenue side.
