Manhunt With Two Levels of Police Professionalism
2024-04-01@5:55pm--#Bridgeport CT--There was a manhunt at Gregory and Rennell Street for a suspect who struck a state police officer on the highway. Uncertain how the officer was injured but he followed the suspect from exit 27. State Police allowed people to walk in the area they were tracking....until they saw my camera.

Bridgeport News: 4 Shot- 2 Dead
On March 30, 2024, at approximately 11:15 p.m. Bridgeport Police responded to the intersection of Stratford Avenue and Logan Street on reports of multiple victims struck by gunfire. Upon arriving in the area, officers located three parties outside 1542 Stratford Avenue suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. During that time, a fourth victim presented at an area hospital; also suffering from gunshot wounds. The three victims at the scene were promptly transported to area hospitals via AMR ambulance. Officer discovered and secured a crime scene that includes the property at 1542 Stratford Avenue and the surrounding city streets and sidewalks. Bridgeport News: Crash Leads To Foot Pursuit
2024-03-29@5:12pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A crash on Route 8/25 exited Main Street and one of the cars stopped at the end of the ramp, the other car fled the area which led to a foot pursuit in the Greene Homes area. No word if the suspect was apprehended.
Carjacking Incident
On March 28, 2024 at 5:02 AM Norwalk Combined Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a carjacking that occurred on Westport Avenue. During the incident, two suspects stole a BMW X3 from the owner at gunpoint. The suspects fled and attempted another carjacking at the intersection of Dry Hill Road and Westport Avenue. The driver was able to maneuver the vehicle past the suspect vehicle and flee. The carjacked vehicle was recovered by Patrol Division Officers in Norwalk earlier today. 2024-03-29@7:41pm----#Bridgeport CT-- A woman in her 60's has been hit by a car at Norman and State Street. Unknown if the driver stopped, the area is closed as a crime scene right now. A pedestrian was also reported struck on Water Street as well.
Bridgeport News: Porch Fire
2024-03-29@4:15pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters were called to the 600 block of Park Street for a porch fire. Firefighters made a quick knock-down of the fire contained to the porch. There was a slight smoke condition in the basement.
