11:58am--#Bridgeport CT-- Bassick High School was in lock-in/lock-out this afternoon for a brief time after a fight outside the school. School resource officers and police were quick on the scene and there were no reported injuries.

This is causing FPS network and email disruptions at ECC, Warde, Osborn, Stratfield, Burr, North Stratfield, Dwight, Fairfield Woods, Jennings, McKinley and Holland Hill. #Westport, CT-- On October 12, 2017 at approximately 1600 hours, Chief Koskinas was driving by the International Wine Shop (732 Post Road East) and observed two young females each holding a case of beer. He observed the females walk to the back of a vehicle with an open trunk, which contained two additional cases of beer. Chief Koskinas stated both females appeared to be teenagers and under the age of 21. The females were stopped in their vehicle a short distance away. They admitted to purchasing the beer from International Wine Shop and stated they had not been asked for identification. 10:55pm--#Bridgeport CT-- There were only minor injuries reported in a crash at the corner of Birmingham and Wayne Street. The driver of the black Mercedes went through a chain linked fence at 821 Wayne Street and post of the fence came within inches of the driver's head. The car came to a rest without penetrating the home. The homeowner was asleep when the crash happened. The other car car came to a stop about 3 houses down.
