His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Derby News: Truck Crashes Off Route 8 Onto Division Street

Reports say the driver had no pulse when first responders got to him but they were able to get one after working on him. He is in critical condition and on his way to Yale New Haven Hospital via Lifestar. UPDATE: Additional reports say the truck ran off Route 8 onto Division Street off ramp.   Thank you Jay Lin for this photo!   11:40am--Avoid Derby and Route 8 if you can.  A viewer sent in this photo of a truck and they say it crash onto Route 8 from Division Street near Route 8 exit 16.  Another report is say Route 8 south on ramp.  The highway is shutdown and extrication is in progress.

Bridgeport Police Update On Pizza Robbery Arrests

#Bridgeport News: On 10/26/2017 at approximately 17:02 hours, an armed robbery of a pizza delivery man occurred in front of 493 Brooks Street. There has been several of these types of robberies happening throughout the city and especially the east side. With the heads up police work along with  determination of the Patrol Division, K-9 and the Robbery Squad three suspects were taken into custody last night shortly after the robbery occurred.     Three arrested by the Robbery Burglary Unit and they believe that they may be responsible for several recent robberies. Those arrested are: Talik Morris 9/16/1997, Johnny Barnes Jr 5/19/1997, and Anthony Clemons 9/9/1998.

Bridgeport News: Arrests Made In Delivery Robberies

5:10pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Tonight a delivery person was robbed by 3 males wearing masks while making a delivery in the 400 block of Brooks Street.  The suspects fled with the pizza and the victim's money through the backyards of Brooks Street.  Police and K-9 were quick on the scene and located the suspects in an attic at 505 Brooks Street.  A firearm was recovered.  A sixteen year old girl was arrested for lying to police telling them there was no one in the house.  The suspects matched the description of the robberies in the same location on October 20th and 22nd.
