Assistant Bridgeport Fire Chief Michael Caldaroni said that firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire located in rear of 1015 Madison Av. First unit reported smoke showing from the rear. The fire was quickly knocked down. No injuries occurred and no one was inside the garage at the time of fire. The Gas Co was called to respond. The Fire Marshal is currently conducting their investigation.
