Bridgeport Police UPDATE:

On September 3, 2018  shots were fired in the area of Colorado Avenue and Denver Court. As a result of this shooting, one male was struck in the back of the head. The bullet exited his cheek area. This victim fled the scene on foot, was located by patrol officers and transported by medics to St. Vincent’s Hospital for treatment. The victim was last known to be in stable condition.

Detectives processed a crime scene last evening and are reviewing video surveillance in the area. Any person with information about this incident is asked to contact Bridgeport Police at 203-576-TIPS.

6:30PMish– A man was shot in the face according to radio reports.  He was in a driveway in the in the 900 block of Howard Avenue.  Early reports said there were shots fired at Clinton and Fairfield Avenue.  The man was alert and talking with first responders.
