12:02am–#Bridgeport Connecticut–Police were first on the scene at a structure fire at 135 Beach Street. They helped get the get the residence out of the building before firefighters arrived. Some of the police did inhale smoke but no one was treated at the scene. The fire started in the basement and firefighters quickly put it out. The Red Cross was called to help find lodging for three adults according to radio reports.
