#Stratford Connecticut–Thursday evening the town of Stratford held a promotions and awards ceremony. Victor Velez and David Gugliotti were promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Antonio Santos and Carlos Castro were promoted to the rank of sergeant. Todd Moore was promoted to detective.
A number of awards were presented as well as the Medal of Valor that was presented to Officer Paul Giegengack. Corporal Brian Norko and Mr. Arthur Gallant was presented the Chief’s Award. Four recent retirees were also honored at the ceremony.
