UPDATE: I spoke to police who said it was a Fairfield Warde Student robbed. The robber lifted his shirt to show the butt of a gun but did not pull it out.

2:11pm–#Fairfield Connecticut–A person walking on Knapps Highway was robbed of their cellphone at gunpoint according to witnesses police said.  This happened at the time students from Warde High School were walking home from school.  The police shift commander did not know if it was a student.  I will follow up on this with more details as they become available.
