9:22pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut–Police are still sorting out what occurred during a police pursuit that began on the Rout 8/25 connector at exit 3.  The gray Nissan that was being pursued got off exit 2 and went down Fairfield Avenue, to Washington Avenue.  The car and pursuit then entered I-95 exiting at 25 and ended on Martin Terrace at Monroe Street.  After a brief foot pursuit police got the suspect in custody.   Two police cars appeared to have collided near Krauser’s on Fairfield Avenue.  The suspects car hit a police cruiser during the purist and the suspects car also was going down Fairfield Avenue the wrong way.  The officer was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital, his injuries and condition are not know at this time.  I saw him in the ambulance and his injuries did not appear life threatening.IMG_7513IMG_7517
