UPDATE:  At 8:29 p.m. on Tuesday, a hit and run collision occurred at the intersection of Chopsey Hill Road and Woodrow Avenue.

A dark blue panel van stolen from Norwalk collided with a family of 5 in a station wagon. Four black males fled the panel van. Marisol Class, 41, of Bridgeport suffered a broken collarbone and internal injuries. Four children received scrapes and bruises. Safety car seats are credited for the kids only suffering minor injuries. The ages of the children range from nine months to 10 years of age. The suspected were not apprehended. Traffic’s Serious Crash Investigation Team was dispatched.  Station wagon occupants had to be extricated by Bridgeport Fire Department personnel. The injured were transported by ambulance to Bridgeport Hospital. Investigation continuing. The recovered panel van was being held by the Bridgeport Police Department.
