UPDATE  on the story we were the first to report to you:

Bridgeport Police Press Release: The Bridgeport Police Department is asking for public assistance in locating a shooting suspect following a non-fatal incident last night.  At 9:15 p.m., police officers responded to a call regarding an alleged shooting incident in the area of Madison Ave. & George St.

Upon arrival on the scene, police officers found a woman who suffering from two non-fatal gunshot wounds to the right leg and the right arm/elbow.  The victim was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital and she’s in stable condition.

The suspects were two Black males, taller in stature, one wearing a black hoody, another wearing a dark grey hoody.  Detectives are actively investigating the incident. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the Bridgeport Police Department at (203) 581-5201.

9:11pm–#Bridgeport CT– A woman has been shot in the arm at Madison Avenue and George Street.  Shell casings have been found at Madison and Frank Street.  The woman was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
