Police were called to the parking lot of Whole Foods, 399 Post Road West, on a report of an infant left unattended in a vehicle. Arrested on $1,000 bond was Milan Kunajukr of Westport.  Upon arrival the officers found the vehicle unlocked and running with the infant inside. Kunajukr exited the store and returned to her vehicle a short time after police arrival. Based on the facts and circumstances she was place under arrest and transported to police headquarters. Arrangements were made to have the father take custody of the infant who was evaluated by EMS before leaving the area. The weather at the time of the incident was approximately 84 degrees, however the interior of the vehicle was cool as the air conditioning was on. DCF was notified of the incident. According to witness statements the infant was alone for approximately 7 minutes.

La policía fue llamada a la playa de estacionamiento de Whole Foods, 399 Post Road West, en un informe de un niño desatendido en un vehículo. Detenido el 1000 dólares de bonos fue Milan Kunajukr de Westport. Al llegar los agentes encontraron el vehículo desbloqueado y funcionando con el niño dentro. Kunajukr salió de la tienda y regresó a su vehículo un corto tiempo después de la llegada de la policía. Sobre la base de los hechos y circunstancias que ella era lugar bajo arresto y se transporta a la jefatura de policía.
