3:04am–#Bridgeport CT–EMS called for a person passed out in a car in front of St. Vincent’s Medical Center.  Can someone explain to me why EMS is called and why St. Vincent’s can’t wheel out a stretcher for them?  Let me guess they will transport to Bridgeport Hospital.  Common sense doesn’t seem to be common any more.

  1. It all comes down to malpractice and liability insurance. EMS and Fire Department regularly respond to walk -in clinics and doctors offices on medical calls too. A waste of resources.
